If you haven’t been to an OTC show on a Friday at 8pm, you aren’t a full-fledged Cedar Citizen!

MAX was created as an iO West (RIP) Harold team in 2015. Now they perform independently at theaters across Los Angeles and at festivals. MAX has played at the iO Chicago Improv Fest, the Phoenix Improv Festival, the San Diego Improv Fest, and Out Of Bounds among many others. It is a true joy for them to play together, and they hope to share that joy with audiences for many years to come!

TVunscripted is a LA-based comedy duo that has been performing together for nearly a decade. Featured at dozens of theaters and comedy festivals all around the world, TVunscripted's fast-paced, highly physical comedy includes costumes, period vernacular, fights, and chase scenes, and has earned them the affectionate title "the comedy chaos muppets."
10:00 pm - Debbie Downer Dead Parent Show

In June 2015, Calvin and Joe both lost a parent. The two parents had been disabled for over a decade and the young men had been their caretakers. Amidst their grief, they created their Debbie Downer "Dead Parent Show": a brutally honest and immensely cathartic exploration of what it means to be a caretaker, to be a son, to know the end is nigh, and to finally experience great loss. The two swap stories from their experiences, never shying away from unpleasant details, and then use improvised scene work to deconstruct and build upon the themes hidden therein. Although the duo insists that the performance is purely for their own enjoyment... and therapy... audiences also get to experience a rollercoaster of raw emotion, and quickly discover they have permission to laugh along in an exultant display of gallows humor at its finest.
